Our Concept

Our concept is simple. As initiators of thousands of Costa Rica vacations through the parent company Package Costa Rica, we have been successful at sharing the riches of this country with the world since 2004. However, one often forgets that behind the scenes of all the well worn paths to beaches, jungles and volcanic landscapes, lies a culture that has been thriving in Costa Rica from the very beginning. Those are the indigenous peoples, who, while their ranks have drastically been decreased, nevertheless still play an important role in Costa Rican life and culture. This site is primarily dedicated to them and the purity of their art forms. "Pure" in the sense that it is a pure expression of a culture that was here long before any of the rest of us.

Fair Trade

We offer indigenous art in the "fair trade" fashion. That means that the artist is paid immediately upon delivery of the inventory, not some later date. In this way they receive a "fair" compensation for their artistic expression and you, our customer, receives a lifetime of enjoyment, not only through admiring the aesthetic appeal of your purchased piece of Costa Rican pure indigenous art, but also knowing that your dollars went to a worthy cause, preserving a timeless tradition that was around even before Columbus decided to coin the phrase, "Costa Rica."
